Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Users of CREO Color Servers from Kodak's Print On-Demand Solutions Group can now automatically match a more extensive spot color collection  for CMYK output produced with digital presses. The expanded matching capability helps printers enrich their variety of spot color production. Pantone, a world leader in color standards, licensed CREO Color Servers for the PANTONE Goe System.

With CREO Color Servers' support of the PANTONE Goe System, print service providers can save time and money associated with incorrect spot color output. Using an automated procedure, CREO Color Servers can read a spot color and immediately translate it to CMYK to match the color quality.

The 2,058 new colors in the PANTONE Goe System are arranged in an intuitive, chromatic order for easy, precise, cross-media color selection and specification. The PANTONE Goe System is designed to inspire creativity and fulfill the requirements of a fast-changing, technologically advancing industry.  The PANTONE Goe System includes modern tools and interactive software to drive collaboration and improve versatility in an increasingly global, multimedia environment.
