CRC Information Systems Reports Impressive Sales Figures for December

Press release from the issuing company

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (January 10, 2002)–CRC Information Systems, Inc. (CRC) announced today that the sixteen new customer contracts that it received in December constitute one of the strongest single months of sales in the company’s history. New contracts were received from virtually every segment of the graphic arts industry from commercial printers and trade binders to commercial and textile screenprinters. “Last month was significant for a number of reasons,” remarks CRC chief executive officer Henry S. Hebing. “Aside from providing us with a strong close to the calendar year and allowing CRC to carry a great deal of momentum into 2002, the fact that we signed customers from such a variety of segments of graphic arts ensures a strong foundation for achieving greater penetration into key markets over the next few years. Most importantly, this surge in sales is especially encouraging as it appears to indicate the industry is beginning to recover from a difficult year.” Overland Park, Kansas-based label manufacturer Dot Label was one of the companies that selected THE System from CRC for their business management software. Controller Mike Shell recalls, “Unlike many of the systems that we looked at, CRC was able to provide our company with a complete solution from estimating through accounting. We liked the fact that we can rely on one company to accommodate all of our business management requirements, and when we were able to see the product in action, we were sold. THE System from CRC offers more functionality than we are likely to ever need. We will be using THE System to run three plants in two states and look forward to an immediate increase in overall operating efficiency through the use of CRC’s real-time data collection and job tracking.” Sun Screenprinting in Sarasota, Florida is one of the many companies that have taken advantage of CRC’s acquisition of Seattle-based Kaizen Software Corporation. “In our twenty-four years of Commercial Screenprinting, it has always been imperative that we pay deep attention to detail,” explains Greg Ewing, chief operating officer of Sun Screenprinting. “This of course goes beyond the need to provide exceptional service and a quality product and reaches into the importance of concentrating on the numbers as in any progressive business.” “Because of these issues, we were very excited to take the next step from Kaizen into THE System from CRC. The Kaizen program has served us very well, and it is clear to see that CRC has taken their many years of software experience and enhanced the Kaizen features. The greatest benefits that we have seen thus far, beyond its never-ending expandability, are its strong connection to the general ledger and comprehensive reporting capabilities. We look forward to having a completely integrated system that can provide us all the details and information we need to take Sun Screenprinting into the future.” Overall, CRC received more than sixty new contracts for THE System in 2001. Further, CRC has maintained its exclusive focus on graphic arts companies as none of these new contracts represent print buyers or other companies outside of the graphic arts industry.
