R.R. Donnelley Names Experienced Leader to Head RRD Direct

CHICAGO, Jan. 7 - R.R. Donnelley has named Timothy M. Stratman, 40, president of RRD Direct, the company's direct-mail business. He had been senior vice president of strategic sourcing. He replaces Susan L. Henricks, who was recently named telecommunications industry leader in R.R. Donnelley Print Solutions. "Tim brings many experiences and demonstrated leadership to the position, which will enhance the significant contributions Susan made during her tenure,'' said Joseph C. Lawler, executive vice president of R.R. Donnelley. "I am confident Tim's leadership of RRD Direct will lead to a broad spectrum of opportunities for the business as we lead the revolution in communications effectiveness by helping customers repackage their content to develop new markets, new audiences and new revenue sources.'' Stratman has held a variety of leadership positions since joining R.R. Donnelley in 1984. For the past four years, he led the development of a best-in-class supply-chain management strategy for the company and is regarded worldwide for his aggressive efforts in developing cooperative relationships with industry suppliers to benefit customers. He played a key role in R.R. Donnelley's transformation efforts, specifically in helping to drive the development of the new strategy behind R.R. Donnelley Print Solutions. He also has more than 10 years of experience in various sales leadership roles for R.R. Donnelley. Stratman received a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, East Lansing. He and his family reside in Oak Park, Ill.
