Minolta DiALTA Lands Award from Better Buys for Business

Press release from the issuing company

RAMSEY, NJ—February 19, 2002 - Minolta Corporation’s Business Products Group announced that the DiALTA Color CF2001 Printer/Copier recently received an "Editor’s Choice Award" in The Color Copier Guide from Better Buys for Business. The CF2001 is a 20 page-per-minute digital color printer/copier built for general office environments. "We are very pleased to have the CF2001 named an Editor’s Choice by the editors of Better Buys for Business," said Bud Murphy, executive vice president and general manager, Minolta’s Business Products Group. "Our goal was to bring to market a color printer/copier that could affordably support the growing demand for high-quality color prints and copies in the workplace. Given the report on the CF2001, I believe we have succeeded in meeting this goal." "It is great news that Minolta’s CF2001 color copier/printer, incorporating EFI’s X3e™ controller technology, has won this award," said Frank Mallozzi, VP of World Wide Sales for Electronics For Imaging. "We work closely with Minolta to bring affordable, industry leading printing solutions to the corporate market and we’re delighted that Better Buys has named the CF2001 a winner." What the Report Says Jonathan Bees, Editor of Better Buys for Business, writes that the CF2001’s "color speeds and paper handling capabilities are excellent, and the machine’s price should fit within the budgets of most cost-sensitive corporate buyers." The result is that the CF2001 is one of the "best values" on the market according to Better Buys for Business. The report also comments on the CF2001’s strong paper handling saying that it’s a "nice touch" that "users can program the mailbox/sorter to function as either a mailbox or a sorter or even split the device so that one group of bins serves as addressable mailboxes and the remaining bins function as a sorting device." Furthermore, the report expresses pleasant surprise that "all of the paper handling options are reasonably priced."
