Poing, December 19, 2001 — PrintCity is a strategic alliance of top players in the graphic arts industry and includes the three major segments: printing for publishing, packaging and promotion. Founded in 1999 as a joint marketing initiative for drupa 2000 in Dusseldorf, PrintCity has since evolved into a more permanent co-operation. Its membership now numbers 40 companies, represented in over 180 countries, which together achieve sales in the graphic arts industry worth over 30 billion euro.
PrintCity has set itself the task of offering complete printing solutions in open systems. It takes in every stage of the production process: design, pre-press, printing, post-processing, control software, imaging supplies, components and services. By joining this extensive network, Oce can reinforce its strategic positioning as a solution provider for the graphic arts industry.
Their next joint presentation with PrintCity is at the IPEX trade show in Birmingham, UK, in April 2002, where our offerings will be integrated in the PrintCity stand.
