Sharon Pratt Promoted to VP, Human Resources at SandyDirect

Press release from the issuing company

Clifton, NJ. (September 30, 2008) – Mike Graff, president of Sandy Alexander has promoted Sharon Pratt to Vice President, Human Resources for SandyDirect, Sandy Alexander’s St. Petersburg, Florida direct mail division (formerly known as MGA).  Sharon had been human resources manager since 1989, responsible for all aspects of employment, employee relations, benefits, training, wage and salary administration and payroll.

In addition to her new position, Sharon will retain her current role of Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Manager, where she is responsible for ensuring SandyDirect’s compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations.

Sharon also serves as administrator of the company’s ISO 14001 environmental management system, charged with monitoring and improving the facility’s environmental performance. This is a critical role, as Sandy Alexander is widely regarded as a leader in “green” or “sustainable” practices. The company has publically declared a target for substantially reducing its carbon footprint by 2011.

Mike Graff said of Sharon:  “By promoting Sharon, we are underlining her enormous contributions to the success of SandyDirect over the past two decades. Sharon is a person who does whatever needs to be done. She is usually the last one to leave at night. She is a devoted member of our Florida team. She cares passionately about her colleagues and the business and I’m sure she will rise to whatever challenges she will face in her new position.”

Sharon is a graduate of the University of Southern Florida, with a BA in Business Management.
