PagePath Releases DocMart

Press release from the issuing company

Aurora, IL, December 13, 2001 - PagePath Technologies has released the DocMart as an upgrade to the MyOrderDesk online toolkit for print pros. The DocMart joins MyOrderDesk's extensive workflow components including PDF2U (print ready file creation and proofing), ezMerge (variable data), Wow!Forms (job or customer tailored order forms), and Ready2Run (order approval system). "MyOrderDesk really cuts my costs and allows me to get my products to the client much faster. It's a great system," remarked Dan Bandel, president, Dan Bandel Productions. "For those who store customer inventory as a value added service, the new DocMart system easily extends that service to the Web," said Steve Ciesemier, vice-president, PagePath Technologies, Inc. "Plus, it works seamlessly with the Ready2Run order approval system," he added. With DocMart, providers of print, reprographics, signs, ad specialties, etc. can create online document "catalogs" for customers to use when ordering inventoried items. Only the customer's employees can access the catalog, where they can view full size images of the items prior to placing their order. DocMart is designed to manage the customer's forms, manuals, brochures, ad specialties, etc. The print provider can use DocMart in conjunction with their warehousing/fulfillment service or for "produce-on-demand" contracts. Confirming e-mail is sent to both the customer and the print provider when an order is placed. The system can also be used with the recently released Ready2Run approval system when orders need to be reviewed and approved by the customer's supervisor or purchasing agent. The print provider is kept informed throughout the process and can quickly review current approval status. A free Trial of MyOrderDesk can be obtained at PagePath's Web site: www.PagePath.com. A demonstration site is located at www.PrintVia.com. MyOrderDesk is widely recognized in small and mid-sized print shops. It was voted "Product of the Year" by the membership of PrintImage International, and was named a "Best of Breed" technology by Xerox. Headquartered in the Silicon Prairie city of Aurora, Illinois, PagePath was founded in 1983.
