Zairmail Teams with Microsoft bCentral to Offer Direct Mail Services

Press release from the issuing company

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 11 Zairmail inked a relationship with Microsoft bCentral to offer Zairmail's direct mail services on bCentral's website. Zairmail Express Direct allows small businesses to take advantage of direct mail to boost their sales. Zairmail allows businesses to send various types of postal mail, including postcards, letters and flyers, straight from their desktop computer. This allows small businesses to avoid the costly and time-consuming manual labor processes that they often face. "bCentral customers who want to send direct mail simply need to upload their Microsoft Word file and address list, and we do the rest,'' explained Wilson Zehr, CEO of Zairmail. "Their mailing is routed to a secure facility near the recipient, printed and inserted using high-volume production equipment, and presented to the Postal Service for immediate delivery.'' Despite obvious reductions in time and effort, Zairmail often costs less than do-it-yourself methods due to economies of scale. With the safety of mail on everyone's mind, Zairmail makes mail even safer since the sender never touches a letter and mail production is automated. Microsoft's bCentral is the leading Internet resource for web-based business tools and applications and offers an easy-to-use suite of services, based on the .NET platform specifically designed to help small companies better manage their everyday business processes. "Now that customers can access Zairmail's services through bCentral, it will be even easier for them to market to their own customers.'' said Nigel Burton, General Manager of bCentral. "bCentral helps businesses improve sales and marketing effectiveness and respond more quickly to customers. Just like Zairmail.'' Zairmail's presence on bCentral is an expansion of an existing relationship with Microsoft. On May 31, 2001, Zairmail announced a relationship with Microsoft to offer Zairmail's direct mail services on Microsoft's Tools on the Web site. Businesses can also access Zairmail Express Direct through the "Tools on the Web'' pull down menu in the Microsoft Office XP suite.
