Mardi Gras Madness Grows in 2002: 2nd Annual Print Buyer Conference

San Francisco, December 10, 2001—The Printing Industries of Northern California and the California Design and Media Association have announced that their 2nd Annual Print Buyers Conference, Mardi Gras Madness, is set for February 26, at the San Francisco Marriott. The 2001 event was so successful that the program has been expanded with additional seminars and more tabletop exhibitors. Last year 650 people attended the conference. This year, because of the enhanced program, PINC expects well over 700 participants. People from all parts of the graphic arts community will have an opportunity to attend excellent seminars that get underway at 12:45 p.m. and go through the afternoon until 5:15 p.m. After that, they can join in the fun at an evening reception with over 50 tabletop exhibits of paper mills, paper merchants, ink companies, printers, finishing companies, and other suppliers. Afternoon seminars include: Keys to Successful Print Buying – Panel Discussion - How to Select a Printer Featuring Dick Gorelick, Gorelick & Associates - From Dot-Com to Dot-Bomb: the State of Online Print Procurement Featuring Hal Hinderliter, Hinderliter Consulting & Creative Services - Most Common Disputes with Printers–And How to Prevent Them Featuring Dick Gorelick, Gorelick & Associates - Communicating with Color–Hot Color Trends Featuring Leatrice Eiseman, Eiseman Center for Color Information and Training - The Effective Plant Tour Featuring Dick Gorelick, Gorelick & Associates Invitations will be mailed to the local graphic arts community in early January. Any seminar includes the evening reception and tabletop exhibits. Tabletop exhibits only, $10.
