Mead Completes Sale of Gilbert Paper to Fox River

DAYTON, Ohio, Nov. 30-- Mead Corporation has completed the sale of the Gilbert Paper Company and selected assets to Fox River Paper Company. As a result of this transaction, Fox River Paper Company will produce and sell all of the Gilbert Paper Company products as part of a separate branding strategy. Mead keeps a 20 percent interest in Fox River Paper Company LLC.
