SHELTON, Conn.--Nov. 14, 2001--Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. (ASE:BLD) announced today that Mark T. Becker and Henry F. McInerney were elected to the Company's Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders held in Trumbull yesterday. Mr. Becker, age 42, is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sappi Fine Paper NA, a subsidiary of Sappi Ltd., an international producer of coated woodfree paper, dissolving pulp and forest products. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer--Europe of Sealed Air Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of protective and specialty packaging materials and systems. Mr. Becker earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Finance from Pennsylvania State University. Mr. McInerney, age 61, is Chairman and Chief Executive of Verification Technologies Inc. (Veritec), a private company which markets technology to protect brand equity through detection of counterfeit products and packaging as well as product diversion. Previously, Mr. McInerney was Chief Executive Officer of Earthgro, Inc. He also served in various executive capacities with Tetley, Inc., including President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McInerney has a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University and an MBA from Pace University. He serves on the Board of Directors of Willett-Veritec LLC and is Chairman of the Board at AuthentiMedia LLC. He is an Advisory Board Member of U.S. Trust of Connecticut. Mr. McInerney has served as a Director of the Company since February 2001. Baldwin stockholders also re-elected Gerald A. Nathe, Chairman of the Board, to serve as a Director of the Company for an additional three-year term. Mr. Nathe, age 60, has served as a Director of the Company since 1987.
