ATLANTA--Oct. 30, 2001--Lanier Worldwide, Inc. today announced it has been named to CMP Media's InformationWeek 500, a prestigious listing of the largest and most innovative users of IT based in the U.S. Lanier placed 152 out of the top 500 organizations, up more than 300 spots from last year. "It is extremely satisfying -- and a tremendous honor -- to have our IT efforts recognized by our peers for the second consecutive year,'' said Sean Magee, Vice President Information Systems for Lanier. "Clearly, we have been able to establish a strong foundation with our infrastructure, application suite and business alignment. But our greatest strength is our people. Their dedication and 'can-do' attitudes are essential to our success. Our ranking on this list reflects their commitment to excellence in IT.''
