Canon's imaging technologies, found in the company's popular lines of digital cameras, digital camcorders, Bubble Jet printers, multifunction devices and scanners that have become mainstream peripherals for PC owners, complements Windows XP and jointly willhelp businesses and home users understand the value of purchasing a new personal computer with Windows XP or, as an option, upgrading their current Windows operating system. "Just a few years ago, no one imagined that cameras and camcorders would enjoy the same relationship with the personal computer as those of printers and scanners,'' said Yukiaki Hashimoto, vice president and general manager, Photographic Products Group, Canon U.S.A., Inc. "PCs now involve practically everything we do for business and fun, including editing, storing and emailing digital still images and digital video.
