2002 Paper Summit Informational Website Launched

Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK, - Paper professionals from around the world who are interested in the 2002 Paper Summit now have a valuable new resource -- www.papersummit.net -- where they can find complete show and conference news and information, as well as access to the leading multimedia information and e-business network for the paper, printing and converting industries site at www.paperloop.com. The show's new site launched in early October is directly linked to paperloop.com, whose Events division manages the Paper Summit, scheduled for March 4-6, 2002, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Started in the 1960s, (known as the TAPPI Show) the 2002 event has been significantly expanded as a result of the three leading industry associations (TAPPI, PIMA and AF&PA) joining forces for the first time to sponsor several new conference sessions and show features. TAPPI is co-locating two of its popular conferences to run concurrently with Paper Summit, and new energy and maintenance sessions have also been added to the industry's most comprehensive conference program. The web site will also be updated on an ongoing basis to include information on what new products and technologies exhibitors will be showcasing in the exhibit hall. There will also be information on the new "Presentation Theatre & New Technology Showcase" debuting at the show. "The 2002 Paper Summit will offer so much more than previous events that it is necessary to have one source where attendees can find all the information they need with a few clicks of a mouse," said Jane McDermott, show director. "We have several new features on the exhibit floor that will soon be announced on the web site." In addition to vital event-related features such as a complete conference schedule, exhibitor list, and the latest news from show management, www.papersummit.net offers seamless access to paperloop.com and its wealth of information. Groundbreaking features such as the Mill & Technology Operations toolkit, interactive Solutions Advisor and virtual E-marketplaces have made paperloop.com an invaluable resource for thousands of industry professionals and earned it "Best of the Web" recognition in a recent issue of Forbes magazine. McDermott also points out that attendees will access all travel information online as well, including hotel and airfare. "It will truly be a one-stop, interactive resource," she summarized.
