Canon Business Solutions Expands to Pittsburgh

NEW YORK--Oct. 22, 2001-- Canon Business Solutions-Northeast, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc. and a regional leader in document imaging systems, today announced expansion to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, metropolitan area. The new office, serving commercial and governmental customers in the Pittsburgh metro marketplace, will be located at Airside Business Park, 550 Lindbergh Drive in Moon Township. Canon U.S.A. is a subsidiary of Canon, Inc. "We are excited about expanding our capability to provide business solutions and Canon products to the Pittsburgh market,'' said Wayne Frahn, president of Canon Business Solutions-Northeast, Inc. "We are prepared to serve the various industries within the Pittsburgh market through our skilled personnel, cutting edge technology and superior service. We look to support our customer's strategic business objectives. Our expansion to Pittsburgh significantly strengthens Canon's position for long term growth in this rapidly growing market and our continued development as a national provider of Canon products.'' David Mielnicki will assume the responsibility of general manager for the expansion. "This expansion,'' said Mr.Mielnicki, "will allow us to provide the Pittsburgh area with hardware and software business solutions and service that generate greater bottom line results for our customers.'' The opening of the Pittsburgh office is part of the expansion of Canon Business Solutions-Northeast, Inc, which is based in New York. In addition to the new Pittsburgh office, it has offices throughout the New York metropolitan area, in Detroit and soon will open an office in Cincinnati. It provides clients with digital network printing, color and black and white copying, duplicating, faxing and large format printing. A facilities management division, CanonBusiness Services, offers on-site support and business services outsourcing. Canon Business Solutions' Integrated Systems Division provides clients with additional support resources that focus on capabilities in IT Systems and Internet applications. Canon Business Solutions-Southeast, Inc., based in Burlington, New Jersey, has offices in Philadelphia and Horsham (Pennsylvania), Wilmington (Delaware), Arlington (Virginia), Baltimore and Atlanta, and soon will open in Ft. Lauderdale. Canon Business Solutions-Central, Inc., based in Chicago, has offices throughout the area and offices in Denver, Houston and soon will open in Minneapolis. Canon Business Solutions-West, Inc., based in Gardena, California, has offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and soon will open in San Diego.
