The General Session will take place on Monday, Oct. 29, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Fla. Session Highlights During the session, Adobe Systems, Inc. will describe its vision for "Network Publishing,'' the next wave of document production that will give users the power to create, manage, and deliver personalized, visually rich content anytime, anywhere, on any device. Attendees will also learn more about current and as yet unannounced products across the Adobe ePaper, Cross Media and Web business units. Attendees will learn how Heidelberg Digital/NexPress is gaining market share and positioning to shape the future of digital output through award-winning technology like the NexPress 2100. An important update will offer insight on a joint venture that combines Heidelberg printing and manufacturing expertise with Kodak color science. Hewlett-Packard Company will offer its vision of communication across Internet channels to enable broad access to digital information residing in countless databases. The market will gain valuable perspective on e-enabled commercial printing, as HP shares ideas on how the communication ecosystem links systems and information to deliver the right content through the right channels. IBM Printing Systems will address Xplor users about how IBM's printing solutions can complete an e-business infrastructure and IBM e-innovations that will leverage and extend their infrastructure far into the future. As new requirements put pressure on transactional printing operations, Oce is focused on the needs of the emerging convergence market. Scitex Digital Printing will examine the impact of color in print with an eye towards industry progress.
