Graph Expo Offers Online Planning Tool

Press release from the issuing company

RESTON, VA (September 23, 2008) - To help attendees make the most of their show experience, GRAPH EXPO again is offering the free Attendee Assistant online tool for use before and during the show.  Available at http://mygraphexpo.com, the Attendee Assistant provides show goers the ability to plan out, well in advance of the show, their GRAPH EXPO schedule-including booth visits, educational seminar sessions and private meetings-as well as an efficient way to locate industry colleagues with whom to network.

GRAPH EXPO, the largest graphic communications trade show and conference in the Western Hemisphere, takes place in Chicago's McCormick Place South from October 26 - 29, 2008.  With more than 600 exhibitors displaying a multitude of prepress, printing, package printing, converting, mailing and fulfillment, and digital printing equipment across some 460,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, the show can easily become overwhelming for many attendees.  The Attendee Assistant offers visitors a way to organize a "plan of attack" for their days of attendance, to ensure their time at GRAPH EXPO is used to maximum advantage.

Users can thus access a full, searchable exhibitor list and product descriptions through the "GRAPH EXPO - Show Preview" section.  A "News Center" link, which will feature vendor press releases, allows attendees to keep abreast of the most important show news.  The "News Center" will be regularly updated with company announcements and product unveilings throughout GRAPH EXPO.

After previewing show highlights, attendees can map out their show strategy through the Attendee Assistant's "My Expo" section.  This section allows visitors to customize the exhibit hall floor plan as booths deemed of interest are highlighted on the downloadable map.  Show goers can also preview and schedule any of the 70 educational seminars, and free market-specific and general sessions offered at GRAPH EXPO; they can also schedule business meetings onto a customizable calendar that can either be printed or downloaded to MS Outlook.

Finally, the "My Profile" and "My Network" sections of the Attendee Assistant facilitate networking.  In "My Profile," visitors can fill out their biographies, business information, goals, interests and challenges.  Through "My Network," graphic communications professionals can find like-minded peers and issue and receive networking invitations.

The free Attendee Assistant tool can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at: http://mygraphexpo.com.  Complete GRAPH EXPO information and registration are available online at: www.graphexpo.com.
