BEDFORD, MA -- October 10, 2001 -- CreoScitex, a division of Creo Products Inc. (NASDAQ: CREO; TSE: CRE), will install its 6000th EverSmart(tm) scanner this month. This milestone is believed to mark the largest number of any single brand of scanner sold in the professional-quality category. In celebration of this achievement, CreoScitex is donating an EverSmart(tm) Select scanner -- the newest model in the popular EverSmart line -- to the Photography and Related Media program of the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York. Established in 1947, the School of Visual Arts is a leader and innovator in the education of creative professionals, counting many prominent artists and designers among its faculty members over the years.
