Former Xerox Exec to Lead VIDAR as Marketing Director Over Wide-Format

September 25, 2001 (Herndon, Virginia USA) - VIDAR Systems Corporation, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wide-format scanning solutions today announces new senior leadership in a key position to reinforce its wide format scanning business. Malcolm Lane joins VIDAR as Director of Sales and Marketing of its Engineering Business Line. He has 25 years of international experience with business planning, product management, development, and marketing. Lane spent twelve years at Rank Xerox with office copier products in the United Kingdom where he undertook a progression of European related assignments within service operations, business planning, and product marketing. Lane then spent nine years with Xerox Engineering Systems/Versatec as the European Product Marketing and Launch Manager for wide format digital systems. Prior to joining VIDAR, he spent four years with Xerox Engineering Systems in Rochester, New York, USA where he was their Worldwide Product Marketing Manager for high volume digital systems.
