Cathy Lewis Leaves Xerox for IKON, To Become Senior VP of Marketing

VALLEY FORGE, Pa., Sept. 26 - IKON Office Solutions, Inc. today announced it has named Cathy L. Lewis as Senior Vice President of Marketing. In this position, Lewis will have responsibility for continuing to develop IKON's integrated marketing strategies and global branding campaign, which position the Company as a leader in delivering the products and services that help businesses communicate. "Cathy brings a wealth of industry sales and marketing experience to IKON,'' said James J. Forese, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, IKON Office Solutions. "She will be instrumental in identifying, developing and implementing programs and strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the office, production and outsourcing environments for IKON. Her knowledge of customer requirements and market opportunities in these areaswill further our development of business communications solutions offerings.'' Prior to joining IKON, Lewis, 49, spent over 10 years at Xerox Corporation in a variety of senior marketing management positions, most recently serving as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for the Xerox Color Solutions business unit. In this position Lewis was responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for color printing and multi-function products for the production and graphic arts markets, which included Xerox's DocuColor series and the recently announced FutureColor platform. Prior to this position, she held executive positions in the office and network printer businesses at Xerox as Vice President for Strategic Relationships and Strategic Marketing, respectively. She also has strong sales and operations experience from her positions as District Manager for sales in New England, Vice President for Xerox Production Systems in the western United States, and Vice President and General Manager of Xerox in New Jersey. Prior to joining Xerox, Lewis was a District Manager for Siemens Information Systems, and owner of a service bureau and microcomputer sales firm in California.
