"These color servers are results of ten years of innovation and a very strong on-going commitment to R&D,'' said Mehran Farimani, General Manager of Production Printing, Electronics For Imaging. "By working closely with Oce, we are able to offer their customers the most advanced server possible and take our successful partnership to the next level.'' The Oce 950C is targeted at the highest volume installations running heavy graphics and variable data applications. The Oce 900C is for less graphics intensive environments. "The user-friendliness of the EFI servers fits in very well with the ease of use of the Oce CPS 700,'' according to Wendell Wilson, Group Vice President, Oce Document Printing Systems. The Oce CPS700 printer specializes in short runs, allowing businesses to digitally print quantities between 30,000 and 100,0000 per month cost effectively, reducing the waste associated with larger offset runs and obsolete materials. This 25 pages-per-minute color printer has the ability to print and RIP at the same time and uses a dynamic new seven-color process that reduces the amount of toner needed as well as producing images that are free of image flaking or cracking.
