Adobe Welcomes Industry Leaders to the Adobe Studio Web Site for Creatives

SAN JOSE, Calif.--Sept. 24, 2001-- Adobe Systems Incorporated , the leader in Network Publishing, today unveiled a roster of industry leaders offering tools and services on the new Adobe Studio(TM) Web site. The Adobe Studio Web site is Adobe's new premiere design network for the creative community (see press release dated today), and the first Network Publishing solution for creative professionals. Companies including Apple and Hewlett-Packard Company will provide solutions through the Adobe Studio Web site to enable designers to be more productive and efficient in managing their projects. Adobe Studio will offer the tools and services needed to enhance the way creative professionals work today. Incorporated within Adobe Studio is Adobe DesignTeam, a subscription-based collaboration service, which enables creative professionals to communicate and collaborate with team members, clients and third party service providers in one secure, online location. It does not require an expensive network and server infrastructure to deploy or maintain, so users can be up and running in minutes. "With the HP remote proofing solution and the HP Designjet 10ps, 20ps and 50ps printers, users can generate remote proofing files that include not only content data, but also specific color profiles and print settings, and they can then print them with the assurance of consistent color at any location. Iomega Iomega will promote Adobe Studio on its Web site, driving a large number of creative professionals with Iomega electronic data storage devices to Adobe Studio. National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) Adobe Studio users will be able to access NAPP services to tap into this creative professional market, learn about their organization and sign up for training and networking opportunities. Content from Adobe Studio will be included in NAPP's seminar series for Adobe Photoshop(R) software users, and NAPP will promote Adobe Studio on their various Web properties as well. WAM!NET Adobe Studio users will be able to sign up for WAM!NET's secure, fully managed network and file transport services through a link on Adobe Studio.
