Donnelley Earns Contract Renewal with TELMEX, 7 Billion Pages Per Year

CHICAGO, Sept. 19, 2001 – R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company has renewed its contract with Telefonos de Mexico S.A. de C.V. (TELMEX), a major directory publisher, for three more years until 2004. Under the agreement, R.R. Donnelley will continue producing more than seven billion printed pages per year for TELMEX. "We will continue to support Anuncios en Directorios--the TELMEX yellow page subsidiary--with the service, quality and on-time delivery that meet their uniquely complex yellow page market demands," said Robert J. Donnelley, which has produced work for TELMEX since 1995, has facilitated the implementation of a completely digital workflow and computer-to-plate technology.
