Press release from the issuing company

ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA (September 12, 2001) – Considered the quintessential compendium of printers engaged in the use of heatset web offset presses, as well as installers, the Printing Industries of America’s (PIA), Incorporated, Web Offset Association (WOA) 2001 Directory is now available. Tom Basore, WOA executive director, considers the Directory to be an invaluable aid to printers, and those looking fulfill their heatset web offset needs. "It is my opinion that this [the Directory] is probably the single most valuable marketing tool available for the heatset web offset printing industry," Basore writes in the foreword of the publication. "It is distributed to printers, suppliers and print buyers." More than 500 companies are listed in the Directory, providing a breakdown of approximately 9,000 presses by location, size, specific cut offs, roll-size capabilities and types of in-line finishing. The Directory is very popular as WOA regularly sells and distributes more than 4,000. Orders for the 2001 edition of the Heatset Web Offset Directory can be placed by contacting Joni Sass. Phone 703/519-8156, Fax 703/519-7109, e-mail [email protected], or visit the Web Offset Association on GAIN. Directory cost to PIA members is $89.95, and $119.95 for non-members.
