WPA Releases Web/Coldset Directory for Canada and U.S.
Press release from the issuing company
ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA (September 12, 2001) – The Web Printing Association (WPA) Open Web/Coldset Directory containing the complete listing of open web and coldset press operators and installers within the U.S. and Canada is now available.
WPA is a Special Industry Group of the Printing Industries of America (PIA), Incorporated.
The Directory contains contact information for more than 550 open web and coldset printing companies, featuring details on more than 7,000 presses, which are categorized by location, size, specific cut-offs, roll size capabilities and types of inline finishing.
"If you need to find a company with a coldset press, or a company that can install your press no matter what city and state you’re in, the Directory is an absolute must," said Michael Kibler, WPA president with Buffalo Newspress Incorporated, Buffalo, New York. "If you want to remain viable in today’s print marketplace, a copy of the Directory is invaluable in helping you be responsive to your customers’ needs…and we all know that customer service in today’s marketplace can make the difference between getting a job, and losing one."
In addition to geographic listings, the nearly 200-page, soft-cover directory contains indices containing a summary of companies with presses by units and state, a summary of presses by size, a company index, and a folder index by page.
Orders may be placed by contacting Joni Sass at PIA. Phone 703/519-8156, Fax 703/519-7109, or e-mail email@example.com. Orders may also be placed by visiting the WPA section on GAIN. Directory cost to PIA members is $89.95, and $119.95 for non-members.
Founded in 1978 as the Non-Heatset Web Section, WPA provides products and services to the open web/coldset web printer. To learn more about WPA, visit the graphic arts industry portal, GAIN, or phone Sass by dialing the number listed above.
