Enfocus Closes the Quality Control Loop in PDF Workflows

Press release from the issuing company

Gent, BELIGUIM & San Mateo, CA (PRINT 01 & Seybold SF) Two major technological developments from Enfocus Software, developers of the world s leading PDF editing, preflighting and auto-correction tools, close the loop on quality control for PDF workflows in the graphic arts.  The chief impact of these new PDF Profiling and Certification  technologies is comprehensive, automatic adherence to customer-specified PDF standards from creation through production, resulting in an Enfocus Certified PDF Workflow . Enfocus partners beginning with Agfa and FujiFilm  are already incorporating the technologies in their respective PDF workflow solutions, and Enfocus itself is integrating new PDF Profiling and Certification throughout its product line with the release of a new application, called Enfocus Instant PDF, as well as new versions of its key PitStop applications. The new Enfocus products and version upgrades will be available October 2001, and are showing here at both PRINT 01 (booth 5363) and Seybold San Francisco (booth 2141 & at the Adobe Partner Pavilion, booth 1517Y). "We re very proud of these latest developments, as they propel Enfocus beyond its place as a leading provider of great PDF tools to being a significant supplier of enhanced PDF workflow solutions," says Peter Camps, Enfocus CEO.  "Our customers and partners have supported us 100%, which motivates us to continue our highest level of commitment to the industry."
