"Cost per page, speed, and quality are all vital elements for printers to consider in a digital press," says Peyrebrune."Xeikon adds to this equation, however, with solid market tested products, excellent service and customer support, and successful customers. We continue to enhance this success with new products such as the DMP 8000, the CSP 320 D, and UCOAT, all of which are at PRINT 01 and ready to ship and install today."

For PRINT 01, the DCP 500 D is configured with Xeikon's new UCOAT, an inline UV-coating and finishing system. The UCOAT streamlines digital printing by enabling users to print, UV-coat, slit and rewind or cut in a single pass, at full press speed. The UCOAT adds a high-gloss UV-finish to digitally printed pieces. The UV-coating further improves quality and increases durability, enabling the professional production of a greater range of demanding print products such as book covers, direct mail pieces, labels, packaging, and glossy posters or brochures.
The CSP 320 D digital color printing system will demonstrate variable printing applications driven by the industry standard PPML.The CSP 320 D is a sheet-fed, entry-level production press featuring the latest in digital printing technology. Its attractive purchase price ($160,000),unique One-Pass Duplex design, user friendly Emerge digital front-end, full color variable printing capabilities, and superior print and color quality, make the CSP 320 D ideal for digital and commercial printers, multi-press installations, or in-house printing facilities.
