No Bowne Employees Harmed in Attack on Freedom

Press release from the issuing company

9/17/01 - According to a letter posted on Bowne’s web site: All Bowne Offices with the exception of Bowne of New York are operating normally. Bowne's New York office is expected to open with a skeleton crew on Friday, September 14. Until that time, all business for Bowne of New York is being handled by our Atlanta office, (404) 350-2000. Bowne of New York employees should not report for work tomorrow, Friday, September 14, unless they are asked to do so by Bob Reynolds. We expect the office to be opened for business as usual on Monday, September 17, 2001. We are pleased to say that no customer work has been negatively impacted by last Tuesday's events. And again, as of today, all information is that no Bowne employees were injured or otherwise harmed by the tragedy in New York. Thank you, Bob Johnson CEO of Bowne & Co., Inc.
