Donnelley Taking Care of Financial Clients, Have Contacted Most Employees
Press release from the issuing company
9/17/01 According to R.R. Donnelley’s web site:
As our thoughts and sympathies are with the victims of Tuesday's attacks, the R.R. Donnelley Foundation has forwarded a donation of $50,000 to the newly formed "September 11th Relief Fund" on behalf of all R.R. Donnelley employees worldwide. We hope in this way to make a swift and meaningful contribution to the relief effort.
All of our businesses, including R.R. Donnelley Financial in Manhattan, continue to provide uninterrupted service to customers. While our 75 Park Place service center is closed pending assessment of structural damage, we have opened a fully operational 24 x 7 service center at another R.R. Donnelley facility at 99 Park Avenue. This facility includes 11 conference rooms, onsite composition and the customer service team from 75 Park Place.
All other R.R. Donnelley service centers and manufacturing facilities across the United States and around the world remain open. R.R. Donnelley's size and strength have allowed us to minimize impact on our customers and continue to provide service to our customers, with no loss of data or documents. To contact our Donnelley Financial customer service team, please call 212-490-9500; Donnelley Financial fax numbers at 99 Park Avenue are 212-503-1307 and 212-503-1499.
R.R. Donnelley Logistics is operational, with the exception of ZIP codes within Manhattan. Customers can check the status of their accounts by calling the Donnelley Logistics Customer Service Hotline at 888-271-9841 or by linking to its website at www.donnelleylogistics.com.
Meanwhile, we have successfully accounted for all of our Premedia employees in the New York area. In addition, we have contacted more than 80 percent of our New York Financial employees, a process that has been hampered by telephone service outages in boroughs where many of our employees live.
