Moore Names Robert C. Nelson Senior Vice President Of Corporate Sales

TORONTO & STAMFORD, Conn.Sept. 10, 2001--Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Corporation Limited announced today the appointment of Robert C. Nelson as Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales. In regard to this appointment, Mr. Burton stated: "Our game plan since we arrived at Moore in December has been to refocus the company on our core print operations. As part of that strategy, we realized early on of the tremendous value cross selling would provide to our customers and our investors. Additionally, as we leverage our capabilities and look to extend our organic growth we view cross selling as a key component in the continued improvement of the company. To lead this initiative and to drive the results required in accomplishing this goal, we have recruited the best person I know of in the industry to deliver this service to our customers. Bob Nelson joins us an experienced senior sales executive to lead this process. I am convinced that Bob is the individual to make this happen at Moore.'' Mr. Nelson stated: "I am very excited to have the opportunity to join Moore. I have worked in similar roles at the two largest printing companies in the world and know the value cross selling can provide for customers and investors. I look forward to adding value to Moore and am excited to have the chance to team up again with Bob Burton and his senior management group.'' Mr. Burton concluded: "Moore is very fortunate to have an individual such as Bob Nelson leading the Corporate Sales initiative. He is a tireless sales leader who has developed valuable industry contacts and knowledge over the years. His track record for me at World Color was excellent, and I expect that he will continue to deliver results in his new assignment here at Moore.'' Prior to joining Moore, Mr. Nelson served as Executive Vice President for enfo Trust networks, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia. While there, Bob was responsible for business development strategies. Prior to joining enfo Trust, Mr. Nelson served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Sales for World Color Press, Inc. While at World Color, Bob successfully implemented a cross selling strategy for the company's major accounts across six divisions with an account base over $1 billion in annual sales. Prior to joining World Color, Mr. Nelson was Vice President, Corporate Sales at RR Donnelley. He received his bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Southern California.
