Charrette Adds New Customer-Focused Enhancements to Web Site

Woburn, MA (9/5/01) --- Charrette.com, the premiere online source for digital imaging equipment and traditional design supplies, has now added a number of new enhancements to its web site in a move designed to make the shopping experience even more intuitive for its customers. Charrette.com now features a newly redesigned homepage, allowing the user to easily navigate the e-commerce and corporate sections of the site. The new homepage highlights special offers, which are updated frequently, and special programs that include eCAD, an exclusive buying program, as well an eVIP order form, a customized order form that is based on items customers have purchased in the past. Other enhancements include a new Best Sellers section that promotes the top ten best selling products by class of trade or product category, including Boards and Cutting Tools, Graphic Design Supplies, Pay for Print, Plotting Supplies, and Sentinel Imaging Products. Charrette.com also features a new cross selling tool, which promotes the top selling items by department and makes it easier for customers to find the right solutions for their needs. In addition, charrrette.com has a newly enhanced Supplies by Printer section that allows customers to easily shop for supplies for large-format printers and laminators from top vendors, such as Hewlett-Packard, Epson, Encad, Raster Graphics, and Seal. Charrette continues to serve as a value-added reseller and has recently launched a new web site, www.inkjet.com, which provides specs, special pricing, and the features and benefits of the latest and greatest in wide-format equipment from HP, Encad, Epson, and Xerox.
