Oce Signs Two New Independent Dealers in South and Southwest

CHICAGO, Nov. 13-- Oce-USA, expanding its market reach in the South and Southwest, said it has added two new independent dealers to its Document Printing Systems' (DPS) North American dealer network. The two dealers - Applied Copier Concepts, of Greensboro, N.C., and Marimon Business Systems Inc., of Houston - bring to five the number of new independent dealers named since August. The earlier dealers were CSU L.L.C., of Overland Park, Kansas; Informatique Comtel, of Quebec city, Quebec, and Minneapolis-based Metro Sales Inc. All the dealers will sell and service Oce DPS products including the Oce DPS400 high-volume digital printing system, the Oce 3155 and Oce 3165 mid-range office and workgroup digital copier/printers, the Oce 8400 series mid-range distributed printers and other Oce DPS equipment and software. In addition, Oce will continue to maintain its relationship with IKON Office Solutions Inc., which also distributes Oce DPS products. "This broader dealer network will introduce Oce's high-performance document management and printing systems to more customers, especially those with high-volume needs,'' said Wendell Wilson, group vice president of Oce DPS. The initiatives follow recent introductions of the Oce DPS400 digital printing system, Oce Office Exec(TM) document logistics software, and the Oce CPS700, a revolutionary, new, seven-color digital color printer. The company will sell the Oce DPS400 digital printing system, Oce 3165, as well as Oce DPS software solutions in seven counties, including Rockingham, Forsythe and Alamance. The 23-year-old company will sell the Oce 8400 series, Oce 3155 and Oce 3165 digital copier/printers, and Oce DPS400 digital printing system in Houston and Dallas.
