Press release from the issuing company

TORONTO & STAMFORD, Conn.--Nov. 12, 2001--Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Corporation Limited announced today the appointment of Jennifer O. Estabrook as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. In regard to this appointment, Mr. Burton stated: "I am pleased to announce that we have named Jennifer Estabrook as our General Counsel. Jennifer has added tremendous value since she joined us earlier this year. She has been instrumental in helping us execute our game plan, having taking the leadership role in our recently announced divestiture of the Phoenix Group division. Her extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures leaves me confident that Jennifer is the right person for this job. Mrs. Estabrook stated: "I am extremely pleased to have this opportunity. Moore is a company with much to offer its employees, investors and its customers. Much has occurred to improve shareholder value by this management team. I look forward to being actively involved as we continue the improvement process.'' Mr. Burton concluded: "Jennifer is an experienced senior executive who has the ability and aggressiveness we look for. She has an impressive background and I expect that she will continue to do a great job running the Legal team at Moore. Jennifer will continue to report to Jim Lillie, Executive Vice President, Operations.'' Prior to this appointment Jennifer had been the Associate General Counsel at Moore. Prior to joining Moore, Jennifer was at CTI Technology, Inc., a pre-IPO contract manufacturer serving the electronics, computer, medical and telecommunications industries, where she served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining CTI Technology, she was Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of The Stanley Works, a $2.8 billion global manufacturer. She began her legal career as an associate at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. She is a graduate of Fordham Law School and Trinity College, Hartford, CT.
