Collier Supply Named as Genesis Chemistry Dealer

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Press release from the issuing company

Vadnais Heights, Minn. (Sept. 29, 2008)...Collier Supply is now an authorized dealer in Minnesota and has begun offering customers Genesis®, the safest and most sustainable line of pressroom chemistry on the market.

Customers can now order a comprehensive line of environmentally safe products from Collier Supply including: blanket and roller washes, fountain solutions, metering and chrome roller cleaning products and other specialty pressroom chemistry.  Additionally, they are offering a new product called UV LRC, which stands for Ultra Violet Lamp Reflector Cleaner.  It contains zero volatileorganic compounds (VOC) and offers printers a safe and simple to use alternative to traditional cleaners.

"We started in 1998 as an offset blanket converter and have since grown into a one-stop shop," said Garry Collier, president of Collier Supply.  "The printing industry has evolved and changed quite a bit, in the past few years.  Collier Supply is committed to staying ahead of the curve and providing our customers with innovative and sustainable solutions.  We are really pleased to be offering the full line of Genesis.  It gives us an advantage over our competition because we have access to the latest and greatest technologies and can easily train printers."

As the authorized dealer in the market, customers can be assured that the Collier Supply has extensive pressroom training and knowledge.  This opportunity allows Collier Supply to provide printers with the technology and training to transition to a virtually zero VOC process and eliminate materials classified as hazardous.

Genesis pressroom chemistry can be used all applications (cold set, heat set, ultraviolet, co-cure and electron beam inks for web and sheet fed presses).  Genesis products contain zero or nearly zero VOC's and are free of SARA Title 313 or Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP's) chemicals.  Worldwide premier printers are using Genesis products to ensure thousands of books, newspapers, magazines, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic goods and more are printed and packaged safely each day.
