Nur America Appoints Michael White as New Director of Sales

Press release from the issuing company

San Antonio, TX; August 9, 2001 - In support of its ongoing and increasingly successful efforts to streamline operations and fortify its sales presence in the Americas, NUR America, Inc., has appointed Michael E. White as its new Director of Sales in North America. Based at the company's San Antonio headquarters, White is responsible for sales activities generated through NUR's direct sales force. Ed Morris, who assumed the role of sales director during NUR's relocation to San Antonio, has been appointed Director of Business Development. In his new position, Morris will oversee NUR America's distributors and investigate new markets for the company's printers. In welcoming White to the NUR America team, President Rick Clarke commented, "Mike comes to NUR with a strong background in sales and finance that will be especially valuable to us. His ability to develop new business and his focus on customer relationships will prove beneficial as we continue to strengthen our organization for the future." NUR America has already seen positive results from the consolidation of its operations in San Antonio and other cost-cutting measures it has taken. The appointment of White as Director of Sales is expected to further reinforce these efforts as the company takes steps to ensure that sales continue to improve during the remainder of the year. Prior to joining NUR America, White spent ten years in the telecommunications industry. He spent the past five years with Ericsson Mobile Phones as Sr. Key Account Sales Manager where he was responsible for the company's major carrier accounts and its wholesale distribution business in the Southeast U.S. He has also held two other sales management positions in which his primary responsibility was new business and new market development. Previously he spent eight years in the finance industry. White comments about his new role at NUR America, "Coming from the very competitive telecommunications industry where customer relationships are so important to success, I intend to bring an increased focus of customer service and relationships to NUR in North America."
