printChannel.com Names Former Getty Images Exec to VP of Strategic Services

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 8, 2001-printChannel.com, the world's leading vendor of Web-based print procurement solutions, has named David K. Glomski Vice President of Strategic Services. In this position, Glomski will be responsible for the development and delivery of professional and support services programs for printChannel customers. Prior to joining printChannel.com, Glomski was vice president, digital asset management solutions for Getty Images, Inc., where he was responsible for direction and development of a new business area to provide a comprehensive digital asset management solution. Previously, Glomski was global program director for Oracle Corporation's FastForward' program. In this position, Glomski was responsible for the direction and development of Oracle application solution bundles for turnkey, fixed-price implementations. Glomski also held several other strategic positions at Oracle, during his four years with the company. He also worked with Texaco Marketing and Refining Inc., Hunter Industries, and Tenera, L.P.  Glomski managed his own consulting business from 1986 to 1991. "We are looking forward to applying David's 30 years of IT and project management experience to developing complete printChannel service solutions for our customers," said Oliver Pflug, the company's CEO.  "With his depth of marketplace knowledge and technical expertise, we expect David to help us grow our position as the leading online print procurement solution in the industry," Pflug added. Glomski attended Harper college (Palatine, IL) and the University of Michigan. He received the Oracle Top Performers Award in 1997, the Oracle One Team Award in 1998, and the oracle Impact Award in 1999.
