printCafe Unveils New Corporate Web Site, Consolidates ERP Sites

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, PA (Aug 8, 2001) - printCafe™, the operating system for print™, went live today with a new corporate Web site offering improved design and navigation, and enriched support for printCafe’s printer and print buying customers. The primary goal of the redesign was to enhance product and company information on the heels of printCafe’s six acquisitions over the last 18 months. Each of the acquired companies previously had individual sites featuring an extensive amount of product information. "The challenge was to migrate what were formerly several unique company sites into one uniform presentation of printCafe’s products and services while maintaining a high-level of detail, organization, and overall quality," said Andy Schaer, senior vice president of marketing for printCafe. The new front door to printCafe at www.printcafe.com is content rich, offering in-depth product information, access to online product support, client case studies, corporate background, interactive demos, industry and association resources, and expanded contact information. Built on Macromedia ColdFusion technology, information can be easily and quickly updated as the company and its product offerings grow. The new printCafe site also offers daily news updates via a feed from print industry news site Printwriter.com. "We want everyone visiting www.printcafe.com to easily understand what our print management software and Web solutions do, how they add value to the customer, where to get support for specific products, and how to reach the right person at the company for more information," said Schaer. "We’re very excited by the results."
