Oce 8465 Receives Recommended Rating from Buyers Laboratory Inc.

CHICAGO, IL. July 10, 2001 - After a rigorous three-month evaluation, Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) awarded the Oce 8465 printer its "recommended" rating. The Oce 8465, a 62 page-per-minute production cut-sheet printer utilizing LED-array technology, was cited for "excellent overall reliability performance," and "well-above-average" productivity. According to BLI, several attributes of the Oce 8465 make it well-suited to a production printing environment, including: Variable data printing of forms Intelligent job routing by user to designated finisher bin locations Large total toner capacity Lower-than-average consumable supply cost Ability to duplex and finish up to 90-pound index stock 128 megabytes of standard random access memory The Oce 8465, a powerful distributed printing solution for a variety of high-volume integrated print environments, also received BLI's highest print image quality rating for printing text, line art and halftones. "We are honored that BLI has awarded the Oce 8465 printer this rating," said Crit Driessen, vice-president for Oce Network Printing Solutions.
