Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation Awards Six Graduate Fellowships

Pittsburgh, Pa., July 10, 2001— The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is proud to announce its fellowship recipients for the 2001–2002 academic year. PGSF has a total of nine named fellowships reserved for students in graduate programs that are applicable to the graphic arts field. Choosing from 14 applicants, PGSF awarded six students the fellowships that are available for the upcoming academic year. * Charles R. & Myrtle J. Wood Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) Sharon Madson (Tempe, Arizona) is pursuing a masters in information and management technology at Arizona State University (Tempe, Arizona). * Harold Gegenheimer and Madeline Gegenheimer-McClure Fellowship ($3,000 per student) Penny Osmond (Paso Robles, California) is pursuing a masters in education/graphics at the University of Idaho (Moscow, Idaho) Haji Naik Dharavath (Laramie, Wyoming) is pursuing a Ph.D. in technology education/industry technical education at the University of Wyoming (Laramie, Wyoming) * Raymond J. Prince/TAGA Fellowship ($3,000 per student) Jessica Hanson (Kenmore, Washington) is pursuing a masters in electronic publishing at Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, New York).
