IDEAL Wins GSA Schedule Contract for Large Format Scanning

July 16, 2001, Rockville, MD - IDEAL Scanners and Systems, Inc. announces that it has been awarded a Corporate GSA Schedule Contract Number GS-00F-0046L. IDEAL's GSA contract is a new breed of contract sponsored by GSA that combines information technology and services into one contract vehicle. Now government buyers can procure complete large format scanning solutions up to 50" wide, and scanning services through a single contact point: IDEAL Scanners & Systems and its authorized network of GSA resellers. IDEAL's services for government customers include scanning and archiving for large format engineering and architectural drawings; large format COLOR maps, artwork or renderings; aperture cards; schematics and specification documents; and documents that need to go the web. IDEAL's solution-based scanning systems feature Contex wide format scanners and include Intelligent Raster Processing, CAD Conversion and Color Scan-to-Print, as well as Intranet-based Document Management applications. IDEAL's GSA Contract award gives government customers easy access to IDEAL's commercial solutions for Mapping, Construction, Facilities Management and Reprographics applications.
