Maastricht, The Netherlands – Indigo N.V., a leader in digital color printing systems, has appointed graphic arts distributor Suntek S.A de C.V to sell its complete range of Digital Offset Color presses in Mexico. Established in 1997 in Mexico City, Suntek has an extremely strong presence in the commercial printing market having represented Komori for the past four years. Focused on providing first class technical support and after-sales service, the company offers a ready-made infrastructure to support rapid growth of digital printing in Mexico. Andy Middleton, Indigo’s General Manager of Worldwide Distributor Channels commented, "The appointment of Suntek as Indigo’s business partner is consistent with Indigo’s best-of-class philosophy. In both North America and Europe, Indigo has the leading market share in production-class digital color printing systems, and it is therefore only fitting that we have appointed a prominent distributor in Mexico." Suntek will be selling Indigo’s complete range of digital presses, including the UltraStream 2000, the industry’s fastest sheet-fed digital press. The UltraStream 2000 brings the quality, power and versatility of digital offset color printing to the high volume market. At 8,000 impressions per hour, it can deliver 4000 four-color, A4 single-sided pages per hour (two-up), or 16,000 single-color pages per hour – 270 per minute.
