Simi Valley, CA Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions, Inc. (HiKIS),manufacturing and supplying both original and aftermarket consumables under its well known Dataproducts brand name, introduces new blister packaging for its InkJet product line. Most compatible and replacement InkJet cartridges and refill kits are now packaged in a rear-facing, clear blister with a front-facing, 4-color blister card. The clear blister containing the InkJet cartridge allows consumers to more easily identify the correct product for their printer. The InkJet cartridge is placed in a clear vacuumsealed bag for additional protection. The 4-color card with eye-catching appeal includes a product image and extensive compatibility information. Color-coding by printer manufacturer makes correct product identification easier. A 100% guarantee, warranty and UPC code is printed on the back of the card. “We feel the clear blister packaging is a big step forward in increasing consumer confidence in purchasing compatible and replacement imaging supplies. Lower prices catch their interest but they must be assured the product will work in their printer” says Bernard Khachi, InkJet Product Manager for the Dataproducts brand.
