June 26, 2001 - Chicago, IL -- Oce Imaging Supplies, a global leader in digital document management and delivery technology, announces the expansion of its display graphics ink jet product line with Oce 15 oz. Canvas and Oce 90 lb. Art Paper. The new Canvas achieves an "oil painting" appearance for art and photographic portrait reproductions and it's high durability is well suited for banners and hanging displays. The new Art Paper provides customers with the look and feel of paper used for watercolor painting, while maintaining tear resistance. Oce Canvas is a matte coated, tear resistant, super heavy weight (15 oz.), one hundred percent cotton canvas. It is designed for a variety of fine arts reproductions that require a very clean and smooth appearance without kittys or cotton seeds. The canvas is ideal for artistic renderings for photographers and fine art production. It is available in both rolls (24"- 54" x 35 feet) and sheets (25 sheets/pack). It complements Oce's existing line of canvas products which include 8 oz. matte and 8 oz. glossy products. Oce's new Art Paper is a matte coated, 90 lb. weight, slightly textured, acid-free art paper. It is designed for artistic applications where the look and feel of a watercolor painting is desired. It is available in rolls, 24"- 50" x 30 feet. It complements Oce's heavier weight, 140 lb. Art Paper. "We are excited to offer these two new products that will increase the capabilities of our customers in producing artistic reproductions," said Bruce Winfield, vice president of marketing for Oce Imaging Supplies. "It truly expands the possibilities for both the large format display graphics and art industries."
