Nulab Professional Imaging Installs FastSend Media Collector

Press release from the issuing company

Milford, MA June 25, 2001 - FileFlow, Inc. - developer of the Internet's FastSend™ digital courier service - has announced an agreement with Nulab Professional Imaging of Australia for the installation of FileFlowÕs FastSend Media Collector. FastSend is the file transmission technology that greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to send large image files over the Internet. Regardless of the client's Internet connection speed or file size, FastSend can transmit files up to 25 times faster than regular FTP or email. Nulab will make the service available to more than 1,600 member photographers across Australia as an enhancement to their professional processing services. "Nulab prides itself on being at the cutting edge in the integration of new technology," said Michael Warshall, Nulab's Executive Director. "Our commitment to our customers and their high standards of quality require us to be the most progressive and innovative lab in Australia. Installing the FastSend solution is another example of that commitment." Following the installation of the FastSend Media Collector, Nulab's clients will be able to quickly transmit large image files directly to the lab instead of burning CD's and sending them by courier. Most of the photographers don't transmit their images now because it simply takes too long. Trying to stay connected for five or six hours to transmit 35-megabytes of data is impractical and inefficient. FastSend will enable them to transmit the same amount of image data in just a few minutes and with less expense. "Michael Warshall and Nulab are very highly regarded in the photographic community," said Ken Freedman, FileFlow's Executive Vice-President. "Their obligation to quality came through in their rigorous testing of FastSend. To that end, we are pleased and excited that they have chosen FastSend to help take their clients the next step in electronic file delivery." About Nulab Nulab helps photographers take advantage of today's digital technology and workflow options by providing professional digital photographic services, as well as conventional processing, printing, proofing, and retouching.
