Group Logic Delivers MassTransit Enterprise Version 4.0

Press release from the issuing company

Arlington, VA - June 25, 2001 - Group Logic, a leading vendor of network workflow software to the print media industry, announced today the general availability of version 4.0 of its market-leading MassTransit Enterprise digital file transfer software.  The new release, which will be exhibited at Print 01 (booth 6766) and was honored as a Seybold Hot Pick at Seybold Boston 2001, offers a unique Web browser plug-in for file transfer and increases the functional breadth of MassTransit Enterprise through quality of service features, advanced interfaces to SQL databases, and much more. "MassTransit Enterprise 4.0 performs as advertised," said David Dornback, a systems administrator at Schawk, Inc., a leading provider of digital imaging solutions to the advertising/promotion and packaging markets.  Schawk uses the Group Logic product in developing product packaging for various well-recognized brands.  "The product has been extremely reliable and has made file transfer and remote proofing a non-hassle at our company.  The new Web Client will be a good way to transfer files securely with an audit trail, without an extensive set-up process." Recent adopters of the new release also include Balmar, Inc., a leading printer in the mid-Atlantic region and one of many MassTransit Enterprise users in the "GAM 101," Graphic Arts Monthly magazine's ranking of the top U.S. printing firms.  "MassTransit Enterprise adds value to the services we provide to our customers," said Pat Peyton, technical director at Balmar.  "The new release allows Balmar and our repeat and contract customers to send and receive files by simply dragging and dropping Mac folders to their Web browser, making file transfer even easier.  The product also saves us money by allowing us to send out fewer delivery trucks.  These cost savings enable us to focus more resources on delivering the highest quality services."   MassTransit Enterprise is the leading software solution for business-to-business transfer of the high value-added digital files used in publications, product packages, advertisements, and other print media.  It delivers files across high-speed wide area networks, including the Internet, while adding valuable business management and workflow features.  "MassTransit Enterprise version 4.0 is designed to meet the growing demand for easy-to-use, Internet-based file transfer solutions that solve customers' business and workflow issues," said Andy Lewis, Group Logic's vice president of marketing and sales.  "As file transfer continues its inevitable migration to the Internet, MassTransit Enterprise provides the comprehensive functionality and ease of use companies formerly sought from managed service networks, without the inevitably high costs and transaction fees levied by proprietary network service providers." Group Logic offers a free 30-day trial version of the MassTransit Enterprise 4.0 software at its website, www.grouplogic.com.
