IDEAL.com IntraSCAN Makes Scanned Images Available Company Wide

Press release from the issuing company

June 19, 2001, Chicago, IL - IDEAL.com introduces IntraSCAN for ScanOS. ScanOS is IDEAL's award winning, multi-function scanner operating system for IDEAL/Contex large format SCSI-based scanners, and all ISIS and TWAIN compatible document scanners. Now, with IntraSCAN on a scanner workstation, all network users can use their standard web browser to find, view, and print their black & white and color scanning jobs that have been scanned with ScanOS's single-field database indexing capability. No client software or configuration is necessary on any of the other workstations and no client licensing is required. IntraSCAN includes an upgrade option to IDEAL.com's IntraNETIX Enterprise or IntraNETIX Reprographic Project Hosting system. IntraNETIX is an instant intranet (in-house) or extranet (Internet accessible) server software which allows users to search, retrieve, view and print CAD drawings, office documents, and scanned large format color and monochrome images. IntraNETIX supports "shopping cart" style batch printing to KIP, Oce, Xerox production printers and major brands of inkjet plotters.
