TSM Digital Printing & Banner Sign Graphics Tackle Large Format

Press release from the issuing company

San Antonio, TX; June 18, 2001 - As the expression goes, sometimes "the sum of the parts" can be "greater than the whole." Two companies who recognize the value of this philosophy are TSM Digital Printing, a San Antonio-based wholesaler in the large format digital printing business, and Banner Sign Graphics, a full service sign company serving the Austin, TX market. The two companies recently worked together on outdoor banner projects for two Texas-based museums that involved printing and installing almost 7,500 square feet of material in a two-week period. All deadlines were met and the customers were happy with the work, especially in terms of responsiveness and print quality. TSM Digital Printing is a small, 4-person family-owned company with a simple business model. It specializes in providing high quality and fast turnaround, large format digital printing services to the trade using a NUR Salsa(TM) 3200, a ten-foot wide photorealistic printer. States John Beck, General Manager at TSM, "We don't have a prepress department and we don't hang, grommet, stitch or etch signage. Rather, we cater to the large format digital printing needs of sign shops and banner companies who don't do wide format printing in-house or whose systems cannot accommodate their customers' quality, width or speed requirements. We provide excellent quality and good service and the NUR Salsa 3200 lets us output on a wide variety of substrates and run seamless output at up to ten feet wide at resolutions up to 600 dpi." With the NUR Salsa 3200, Beck has partnered with his customers to tackle some interesting applications. He has done wholesale work for customers catering to Hoolihan's, a nationwide restaurant chain, Opreyland and Six Flags theme parks just to name a few.
