In addition, Fujifilm announced that its current and future line of FinePix consumer digital cameras would be fully Windows XP-compatible. The Windows XP photofinishing announcement is significant for both Fujifilm and Microsoft because the arrangement will allow users of the new operating system to obtain professionally processed prints of their digital pictures with just a few clicks of a mouse. This new agreement expands the existing relationship that the two companies already have; Fujifilm currently fulfills all photographic print and greeting card orders for Picture It! on MSN (www.pictureit.msn.com), through its subsidiary, Fujicolor Processing, Inc. Similar to the successful MSN fulfillment arrangement, Fujifilm’s state-of-the-art Frontier Digital Minilabs will be used for processing Windows XP orders to ensure delivery of the same sharp and colorful pictures that consumers, professionals and business customers have all come to expect from Fujifilm photofinishing.
