Press release from the issuing company

WOBURN, MA, July 30, 2001 – Indigo N.V. a world leader in digital color printing systems, officially opened its newest U.S. demo center on July 16th. Known as the Los Angeles Tech Center, the facility is conveniently located on Airport Boulevard, near Los Angeles International Airport, and offers ongoing demonstrations of Indigo’s high-speed, high-quality Digital Offset Color presses, along with facilities for training programs, meetings and other events. "We’re extremely pleased with the new L.A. Tech Center, which gives customers and potential customers a great opportunity to observe Indigo’s digital presses in action and learn about Indigo technology firsthand," said Rick Mangold, Vice President of Sales, Indigo America. "The West Coast has traditionally been one of our strongest markets, and we’re confident this latest development will strengthen our leadership in the area even further." Mangold joined Indigo Chairman and CEO Benny Landa, President and COO Rafi Maor, Vice President of Strategic Relations Mimi Sela, and West Coast Regional Sales Manager Brett Rowley at the Center’s gala opening, which included an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on the morning of July 16th, followed by a reception and the unveiling of a special Customer Wall of Fame that evening. "The L.A. Tech Center is not only an ideal venue for showcasing the capabilities of Indigo products and technology, but also a place where we can meet with and learn from customers who have developed their own unique digital printing applications, " Rowley commented. One of the highlights of the opening celebration, in fact, was the series of special "Blue Ribbon" presentations held at the Tech Center on both July 16th and July 17th. Western Region digital print providers – all of them Indigo owners – spoke on topics including "On-Line Personal Print Marketing Services (Jinee Tao, Chairman, Touchpoint/CardStore); "Government Printing Requirements Fullfillment" (David German, Manager of Reproduction and Mail Services, City of San Francisco); "Gift Market and On-Demand Personalization" (Brian Huse, COO, 4YourSoul); and "Quality, Quick Delivery and Service" (Richard Small, President and CEO, Identigraphics). In addition, Dr. Harvey Levenson, head of the Graphic Communication Department at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, discussed "Technological Transitions in Graphic Communications: From Hardware to Webware." The Los Angeles Tech Center, located at 9841 Airport Boulevard, features three fully operational Indigo Digital Offset Color presses: the Indigo TurboStream, designed for mid-to-high volume users; the e-Print Pro+, for copy shops and quick printers; and Indigo’s high-volume, ultra high-speed UltraStream 2000.
