Barbara Pellow, IKON Vice President of Marketing to Resign

Press release from the issuing company

6/11/01 (WhatTheyThink.com) Sources confirm that Barbara Pellow, Ikon’s Senior Vice President of Marketing will leave the company this summer for a teaching job. Company officials found out last week and have not named a replacement. Pellow joined Ikon in 1999. She was their chief spokesperson for their e-commerce initiative and “transformed the way others looked at Ikon.” Pellow developed integrated marketing strategies for all of Ikon's product and service groups including Digital Express. Prior to Ikon, Pellow was Group Director for the "On Demand Printing and Publishing Service" at CAP Ventures. Her career also included stints at Indigo, Xerox and IBM. Steven Eck, head of Media Relations at Ikon told WhatTheyThink.com that she will leave under the very best circumstances. “Barb built a great team at Ikon and we will certainly miss her. We were surprised by the decision, but understand it will be a great move for her.” Eck said there was no friction on business directions or strategy. Sources say she will leave at the beginning of August.
